Please read these terms carefully
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Dojo. By using Dojo, you represent that:
- You are at least 16 years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You are not barred from using the platform under any applicable law.
We reserve the right to change this age requirement in the future to adapt to evolving laws and platform needs.
2. User Conduct
To maintain a respectful and constructive environment, you agree not to:
- Post or share hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
- Promote or incite violence, harm, or illegal activity.
- Use bots, spam, or automated scripts to manipulate the platform.
- Impersonate individuals or organizations.
- Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property.
- Share misleading, harmful, or deliberately false information.
- Upload AI-generated spam or unreviewed, mass-produced content.
- Post shallow "engagement-bait" or performative content (e.g., "like for part 2").
- Create or promote a deceptive personal brand meant to manipulate users.
- Share private or identifying information of others without consent (doxing).
- Post disturbing or shock content solely to provoke emotional reactions.
- Disrespect the platform by treating it as a dumping ground for harmful, careless, or divisive material.
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to users who violate these terms.
3. Content Ownership and Licensing
You retain full ownership of all content you post on Dojo.
By posting content, you grant Dojo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform and in promotional materials.
This license is limited to supporting platform operations and marketing.
If you delete your content, Dojo will retain it for up to 30 days for moderation and security purposes, after which it will be permanently removed—unless otherwise required by law.
4. Account Termination
Dojo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) when:
- You violate these Terms or Community Guidelines.
- Your content poses a legal or safety risk.
- You attempt to manipulate or disrupt the platform or its users.
In most cases, we'll provide notice and an opportunity to respond. However, immediate action may be taken without notice in cases involving threats, illegal content, or severe violations.
5. Platform Availability
Dojo is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee:
- That the platform will be available at all times.
- That it will be free of bugs or errors.
- That user interactions or content will always be safe, accurate, or constructive.
We are constantly improving Dojo but make no warranties of any kind.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Dojo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- This includes loss of profits, data, reputation, or business opportunity.
- Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) to Dojo in the 12 months prior to the claim.
You agree to use the platform at your own risk and discretion.
7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court, and on an individual basis (no class actions).
- Arbitration will take place in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do:
- We will notify users of material changes (via in-app notice or email).
- Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of Dojo.
